Web Design

The thing I love about Web Design is that it feeds both sides of my brain.  I love the creative aspects of web design as well as the technical aspects of having to put it all together.

The Pointe Orlando Resort

The Pointe Orlando Resort wanted a more masculine site that blended the feel of Tommy Bahamma and Ralph Lauren. I leaned more towards the Tommy Bahamma side since the property calls Orlando Florida its home. I was responsible for the design, unfortunately others were responsible for the build which is why it isn’t done properly.

Bova Furniture of Arizona

Bova Arizona
Bova Arizona is one of my first non-hotel websites and I really wanted to push the envelope and do something completely different then any of the local competitors. So we scaled back the content and amount of products to keep the site simple, sophisticated, chic, and just cool.

Hospitality Design Concepts

Hospitality Design Concepts
Hospitality Design Concepts wanted to do a complete redesign that was light and more fun. They mentioned a book kind of look and I, along with my wife, Marina Gonay, were able to deliver.

Hard Rock Hotel – Chicago

The mangers of the hotel wanted a unique look for their Hard Rock branded property. After delivering them a look that they absolutely fell in love with we faced a harsh reprimand from the Corporate overseers. We were still able to push the envelope a bit with the standard Hard Rock site to come up with a special look.

La Concha Resort

Unique, Chic, Different…I hear this a lot and it was profoundly said during the discovery stage for The La Concha Resort. However, when I did provide them with something that was different and outside of the norm…they didn’t quite want different anymore. So I rearranged the basic elements of the first comp and arranged in a more traditional manner. I still think that it is a strong design.

Destination Dulles

PM Management services wanted to create a portal page that would attract clients looking to come to the Dulles Airport area to book at one of their 4 hotels. They wanted a nice and clean design that spoke to the Dulles Destination without falling into the pitfalls of using the standard red, white, and blue that most Washington destination sites use.

Explore the Canyon

One of my favorites…Explore the Canyon was an experiment of sorts in trying to come up with a unique layout that works within a custom CMS as well as an engaging design that makes great use of the Grand Canyon as a backdrop.

The Madison Hotel – Memphis

The Madison Hotel in Memphis wanted a clean yet funky site to go along with their hip hotel. Pulling inspiration from their fantastic interior photos made this site a no brainer to design.

Hotel Duval

Hotel Duval had an interesting approach to the design of their hotel. Each floor of the hotel was designed with a particular color in mind. I wanted to carry this concept over in the design of their site. Using black as a base really helped pop the colors in the site.

IMAX Victoria

IMAX Victoria is another Destination Cinema theater. This is one of two theater sites that I created for Destination Cinema. They didn’t want the typical theater look and needed something that would give off a cool and modern look.

Emory Conference Center

Emory Conference Center is a unique property. They designed the hotel with Frank Lloyde Wright as the inspiration. With that in mind…I utilized a very large image size mixed with a tree lined background to fulfill and exceed their expectations.
